Tricky Wall-Mount Planter in San Francisco

Updated: Mar 10

Here's a step-by-step look at how Steel-Nature moves from concept to installed custom planter. In this example, we look at a heavy planter wall-mounted above a garage in San Francisco.

STEP 1 - Take-Offs

We start with blueprints and architectural drawings.

STEP 2 - CAD Design

Next we finalize designs and approvals using CAD software.

STEP 3 - Make It

Then, from our shop in Orland California, we procure, cut, bend and weld to fabricate to your exact specifications.

STEP 4 - Ship It

Finally, we ship it! We'll deliver on-site and accommodate your project schedules. We use our own vehicles to deliver locally within California, and contract to ship nationally anywhere - including to Spartanburg and Southeastern states.

STEP 5 - Install It

Your crew installs, and our team is on-hand to help with design changes. In this install, we needed to switch out the bolting system.

Also, the client wanted to paint the planter on-site. In most cases, we finish in Corten Steel, or powder coat in any color.
